If I buy a pattern, will I have access to it forever?

• Yes. Once you purchase a pattern, it’s yours.

Can I print the patterns from Ditto?

Ditto Brand

• Printable PDFs are included when a pattern is purchased individually. Printable PDFs are not included when using a subscription. 

Partner Brands

• Varies by brand. To see if a pattern comes with a printable PDF, check the pattern detail page on the Ditto website just above Add to Bag.

What does the yellow “customizable” tag mean?

• It indicates a Ditto brand pattern that has pattern variations available. For example, you may be able to change the neckline, sleeve type, length of garment, etc. The variations available are different for each pattern.

Are all patterns made to measure?

• All Ditto brand patterns are made to measure. Other brands offer projectable patterns in sizes and fits their customers have grown to love and expect.

Where can I find the measurements available?

• You can find the size charts for any pattern located in the size section on the specific pattern page.
• Ditto brand patterns are made to measure, which you can view on the Ditto website. From the account section, select My Account. Then click Measurement Profiles from the left-bound navigation bar. This page allows you to create, edit, or delete a profile. Select + Create New Profile to get started. Accounts can have an unlimited number of profiles. 

What are the bust adjustments?

• Adjustments for the bust can be made when the sewist adds both the bust circumference and underbust circumference. The difference in those two measurements will define cup size.

Do the Ditto women's patterns go above size 28?

• Ditto patterns range from size 0 to 28. However, please keep in mind that all Ditto patterns are made to measure, so all body measurements can be personalized, and the pattern result will fit any body perfectly.

Do the Ditto men's patterns go above size 52?

• Although our men’s patterns go up to a size 52, with our made to measure feature, one can enter measurements that extend further out than the standard measurement of size 52 and the system will adjust the pattern to accommodate those measurements.

What if I’m having trouble reading the words and marks on my projected pattern?

• Double tap the pattern piece in the workspace to bring up a pop-up zoom of the piece. Use two fingers to zoom in and out. You can also put a piece of paper under the projected image to see the markings clearly.

Are the seam allowances included in the pattern pieces?

• Yes. A standard 5/8" seam allowance is included in all Ditto patterns. Seam allowances for all other brands can be found in the sewing instructions.

Can I upload other PDF patterns to Ditto to project?

• You can. This is a new feature in Preview (Beta) format. For instructions, see the Tutorials page on the Ditto website. There is also a FAQ document on the files tab of The Ditto Thread.
