How do I Insert the top-loading bobbin into my EMERALD™?Updated a year ago
Your HUSQVARNA VIKING® EMERALD™ Sewing Machine had an easy-to-use top-loading bobbin. Let's load your bobbin into your machine!
1. Place the bobbin in the bobbin case with the thread pulling off counterclockwise.
2. Guide the thread into the front notch (a) on the front side of the bobbin case. Draw the thread to the left, sliding it between the tension spring blades. You can place your index finger of your right hand on the top of the bobbin to keep it from turning as you do this step.
3. Continue to draw the thread lightly until the thread slips into the side notch (b).
4. Pull out about 10 cm (4”) of thread. Attach the bobbin cover. Check the threading by referring to the chart shown on the bobbin cover to ensure proper bobbin set up.
